Common Properties

The esplanades, park and 26 private properties may never be used for commercial purposes including, but not limited to, commercial photography.

Architectural Control

No structure shall be erected, modified or altered on any Lot in Broadacres until building plans showing the location of all structures and specifications have been reviewed and approved by the Architectural Control Committee. The plans must be submitted to the Architectural Control Committee and approved before submitting plans to the Houston Historic Preservation Office. The Committee will send notice of approval to Houston Historic Preservation Office as we work in collaboration for the preservation of the historic neighborhood.

Littering and offensive activity

No littering of any kind, including dog feces, use of glitter or balloons. No noxious or offensive activity shall be permitted.

Structures

No structures of any type, permanent or temporary, may be erected or placed on the esplanades or park.

Tennis Court

The tennis court, owned and maintained by the homeowners of Broadacres, is a private court exclusively for the use of Lot owners. A shared calendar is used to schedule court usage. Guests must accompanied by Lot owner.

Texas Local Government Code Chapter 212, and City of Houston Code of Ordinances Chapter 10, Article XV, Sections 10-551 through 10-556. The Broadacres deed restrictions are recorded with the Harris County Clerk’s Office under file no. RP-2022-305552.
